January 13, 2022
The newly released Volume XIX., No. 2 (2021) of Masaryk University's student journal Sacra has been dedicated to select contributions from the International Religious Studies Doctoral Conference ROAR – Resistance to Order and Authority in Religion that took place in October 15–17, 2020, partly on the premises of the Central European University in Budapest, partly on the Zoom online platform.  It is the first edition in its history that is entirely in the English language.  There is also a very infomative editorial peice, written by Tereza Menšíková and Jan Trtílek at the beginning of the issue about the ROAR 2020 collaboration and event proceedings.
The CEU Center for Religious Studies and the other co-organizers of ROAR 2020 -- The Department for the Study of Religions (MUNI) and the Center for Religious Studies at Eötvös Loránd University -- invite you to check out this conference volume, which offers a small window into the unique exchange of ideas that took place at this event just over a year ago.

We also hope perusing this volume with inspire some new participants to join us for the next doctoral conference event that we are now organizing  having added new members to the team including the Center for Religious Studies (Charles University), the Center for Religious Studies (Pardubice University), Department of Comparative Religion at Comenius University of Bratislava, and Department for the Study of Religion (University of Szeged). The next conference is expected to take place 1-3 September 2022 in Pardubice, Czech Republic.

Stay tuned for more details and the call for papers soon!
