On the 5th and 6th November 2021 junior member of the Center for Religous Studies and a PhD candidate at the Department of History at CEU, Oleksii Rudenko, participated in the workshop 'The Kyiv Church Metropolia searching for its identity in the 16th – 18th centuries’. He presented a paper on the Roxolanian tradition and its transfer in the early modern era, which is a part of his doctoral project, at the panel entitled ’Historical narratives in the process of the formation of Kyiv ecclesiastical identity’.
This was a first part of the workshop, organized by Nataliia Sinkevych and Julia Herzberg. The second meeting is planned in-person for 2022.
